Jump Rope For Fun & Fitness
Enrichment Classes for youth grades 1-8
Learn the fundamentals of jump rope along with single rope jump rope tricks, partner routines, double dutch and choreography with acclaimed educator and coach, Rene Bibaud. Rene is a master instructor with a highly acclaimed approach to working with youth. Class is appropriate for all skill levels and experience.
We play loads of skill building games and activities and work to create a performance for friends and family. Students may choose to enroll for just a season, or enroll throughout the year. Our program offers variations on skill development and varied themes each season.
Our program has been offering jump rope classes and teacher training programs around the greater Seattle area for over 20 years with high praise from parents and participants and the schools we work with.

Ropeworks is the creation of Rene Bibaud. Rene is a five-time world champion, former ESPN commentator for the sport of jumping rope and artist and coach of the renowned Cirque Du Soleil. She is an educator, motivational speaker and entertainer with a special focus on fitness and specialty performances. She excels at sharing the benefits of the single best fitness tool available – the jump rope.

Our program focuses on a success-oriented, self paced, learning. Skills are broken down so that kids of all abilities are appropriately challenged. With 30 years as an educator, Rene has developed a highly acclaimed approach to teaching kids of all abilities. And we use the jump rope as a working metaphor about “growth mindset” and help kids to develop goal setting techniques, self confidence, and a celebration of differences. When we focus on effort, results follow.

Athletes learn to build skills in a success-oriented, scaffolding approach with individual tools to continually push skill development. We offer a ton of games to build coordination, timing, foot speed and endurance while maintaining a balance of a fun home based activity that kids will rave about for years to come!
Classes will be limited to 15 participants per class - well below a typical onsite program class size
Participants will have opportunities to interact with one another and share skills
